Just completed backing up the documents/files in the file server. Took over an hour with databases etc. Will be doing the webserver tomorrow. That should be much faster.

Earthquake in Acheh

Woke up after Christmas to hear about the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka etc.

I have clients staying Sri Lanka and Phuket. Wonder how they are doing. Will have to email them to find out. Or is telecommunications down so the emails just can't get through?

December is a slow month

Decembers are always slow months for the legal industry in Singapore. Bosses go on their annual leave. Assistants can take it easier after a whole year with the nose to the grinding stone. So that give me time to think about doing other things - like this blog.

I don't particularly care if no one reads it. Like great authors, I write because there is a need - a self fulfilling need.

If you are interested, come back every now and then and see what happens.
